World of Weird Al Yankovic

I just checked Amazon.ca and a lot of Al's old albums are in the Top 100 in sales this week:

#80. Even Worse
#81. Polka Party
#85. In 3-D
#97. Dare To Be Stupid
#98. Weird Al Yankovic
#99. Off The Deep End

But Straight Outta Lynwood is not on ant list in Canada. It's available for sale as an import from the U.S. This is the first Weird Al album that this has happened to. Why is that? Do the canadian record companies counterparts not produce DUAL-discs in Canada? What's going on here?

Well, according to The Mothership, the album will be released in Canada on October 3rd.

I wouldn't recommend importing from the US- the DVD side won't work in your players unless they are region-free. Wait until the release up there.

Edit: I just re-read the "International-Al" blurb on the Mothership, and the DVD itself is region-free, so you could play it in Canada. Nevermind lol.

Heh, even if the DVD was region encoded, Canadians would still be able to play it. Remember, Region 1 is the US and Canada.
