Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Al was on our local alernative radio station this morning, CD101. I haven't had a chance to listen to all of the interview (sneak listening at work when I can), but first part discusses the surround-sound issue for the upcoming album...

Enjoy!

That was a pretty good interview. Thanks for posting it, Shelley. Just a warning though, a little past the halfway point in the interview, they play "Weasel Stomping Day". I managed to skip past it without hearing any of it.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Yeah, I turned it down when it started playing the song ... other than that, it was a good interview ... it was cool hearing them sound so excited to have the "Legendary Weird Al" in their booth. Thanks for posting, Shelley.

What the...

OK, I posted this yesterday in the WaN video discussion topic.. it was a quote from someone I know comparing Compton to Lynwood:

Lynwood is not quite as rough as Compton (i.e. you wouldn’t get capped by a 7 year old) but it’s still pretty rough (you might get capped by an 11 year old).

......and Al said this exact same thing (down to the same ages) on this radio interview. :oo

So either it's a huge coincidence... or...

Hi Al! :w

Yeah phone interview on CD101. I believe our local channels do just go local, unless you listen to the live feed on their websites.

Adrian
well, either Al found some time to read the boards or bermuda mentioned that joke to him :P

EDIT: at the end, he mentioned he was going to be talking to Buck in albuquerque next, maybe somebody could find their site and see if they recorded their interview.

I noticed that, Adrian! As soon as I heard that joke, I remembered that you had posted the exact same thing. I really don't think that that's a coincidence. I mean, it was the exact same thing right down to the ages you used. I'd say that Al read it and liked it.

EDIT: Well, hello Al!
