To spoil or not to spoil?

I know. And chances are I'll be downloading those songs along with everyone else, but there's something to be said for hearing an entire album's worth of music all the way through with ALL of it being completely fresh. The only time I've ever heard an ALbum fresh all the way through without having heard any of the tracks previously was when I first became a fan in 1988 and went out and bought the first four albums on cassette.

I just really like the idea of the WHOLE album being new with nothing on it that I've already heard...at least for the first listen. I know I'm in a distinct minority here, but at least Anth is with me!

Of course, like I said, my pathetic will-power will certainly get the better of me come Monday night... Man, I'm sure glad I'm an AL-oholic and not an alcoholic.

I know what you mean, BTD. I'm still debating whether or noy I'm going to be at the Yahoo! Music video premiere, but I feel that curiosity may get the best of me.

Also keep in mind, this is 1/6 of the videos on the album...

Yes, we have three groups now.

1) Those who visciously devour every single itty bitty spoiler they can get their hands on and would listen to the whole album early if they could.
2) Those who cruely deny themselves the pleasure of hearing even a millisecond of the album a mere minute before the 26th.
3) Those who act all holy and don't want to spoil the sanctity of their SOL virginity until the time is right, but know darn well that they have about as much will power as a crackhead at a plumber's convention.

Count me in the third group.
