Hi! Long time, no post!
Anyway, I discovered recently that The Weird Al Show will be released on DVD in Australia on 4th September, only ywo weeks after the US release (which is good). It's only $30, for 3 discs, and looks to be exactly the same as the US release. Here's the url:
The "Weird Al" Show on DVD

Can't wait to see the clips from the concert again!

Thanks for that AustralianBoy! I guess it's probably a lot cheaper than getting it through Amazon. I'm just worried that it will have a big ugly green ratings sticker on the front.

hopefully we won't get gypped out of the features on the US realease, seeing as there's no rush this time

Well, the only reason we were gypped is because of the tour. And I think Al knows how dissapointed the Aussie fans were with no special features, so chances are he won't do it again.

I think in the states it's unrated, so why should it be here...?

The Simpsons isn't rated here either, but they had a big ugly green ratings sticker on that in Australia (Season 6 at least)...

Although honestly, it's not like the cover is really that nice-looking anyway. :P

True, but I'd rather a kinda-alright DVD cover with no sticker than one with.

Why? And btw, why order an Australian version while you can probably get it earlyer from weirdal.com?... Still I will get it about 2 or 3 weeks after it ships, boohooo :'( because it has to go to the netherlands via airmail, takes a long time...

As for that sticker, you can pull it off...

You can only pull the sticker off if it's an actual sticker, not if it's printed on the cover art, like most DVD covers seem to have these days :(

I reckon its worth the wait to get it in australia because of region codes.
