Hey everyone! I just picked up a copy of John K. presents Ren & Stimpy the Lost Episodes on DVD. As if it isn't amazing enough that the DVD is chocked full of John K.'s animated goodness with all sorts of new, crazy antics from the demented duo of petdom, the DVD starts right off with a commentary by Al!!!

Oops, I just realized Dave already put a calendar notice up about the release. Sorry guys. Just so you know though, it's well worth the buy!!!

Unless of course you were completely repulsed by the show.

Sorry to say, but not even Al can tempt me to financially support that trainwreck.

Yes, though, I have to agree with you CatraDhtem. It is quite a bit risque.

Risqueness I don't mind (is that a word??). Heck, the original show had plenty of that ("Gosh darn, Ren, is that all you can think of?!?"). It's just an overall witlessness to it that bugs me. When I say I'm repulsed by it, I do mean on its artistic merit.

It's just depressing that of all the seasons this show had, this is the set Al shows up on. It would be like if for some reason he appears on the last "Seinfeld" season set.

Yeah, I'm gonna skip this thanks... I really didn't like the show (save for 'Ren Seeks Help', really the only good episode of that series) so the only reason I'd get it is if they stuck it in that (truly) uncut box set that they keep promising.

Which is looking about as likely as "You're Pitiful" turning up on the next album.

I had no idea that Al did commentary for this?? That makes the masterpiece of a show even better! I'll have to check out the dvd..
