Well, if I read that post correctly, I think Al only appears in a bonus feature (such as an interview) and not in an episode itself.weirdalfan95 @ Dec 3 2005, 04:26 PM wrote: Al's actually on an episode?! COOL!
Oh why, why, why couldn't he have instead been on one of the earlier boxed sets...you know, with funny watchable episodes on it?? Sheesh, I would have looked the other way on the edits if Al was on there doing something.

I know a lot of APC fans love that episode and will defend it as the raison d'etre for the entire series, but it really didn't do anything for me. It was too long, a bit hard to follow, too detached (that is, for an episode that's supposed to bring some sympathy and understanding to a main character), and one scene seemed to have been lifted from an issue of Spumco's "Comic Book." That episode was more like "Spumco Needs Help."TheMeccaOfAlbinoPoodles @ Dec 4 2005, 10:16 AM wrote: Greg: So... "Ren Seeks Help" didn't exist, eh?
So if it does in fact no longer exist, then it's no big loss. If I want an emotional cartoon that explores the psyche of a character, I'll stick with "Stimpy's Invention" or even "Son of Stimpy."

It wasn't a good episode, per se, but hey, compared to the FIRST one (Above and Beyond, the most sickening cartoon possibly ever created) it's great.CatraDhtem @ Dec 4 2005, 03:19 PM wrote: I know a lot of APC fans love that episode and will defend it as the raison d'etre for the entire series, but it really didn't do anything for me. But THAT is a non-topic discussion that will be brought up somewhere else at a later date.
