The Glacier

Post by Orthography Enthusiast »

I now have a data point to help calculate the speed of the CPFOA glacier.

I sent Al a fan letter last November, and I got my SASE back today with the "latest Al news" newsletter (no autographed picture, because I'd said specifically that I didn't want one-- I'd rather collect that sort of treasure in person :) )

Guys, did you know that Al is on tour this summer?

Now, I can understand why Al himself might get behind on reading fan mail, and is probably getting behinder all the time, but I don't see why the same reasons would necessarily apply to his support wights.

I feel like firing off a little hortatory missive to the CPFOA folks, encouraging them to be a little more diligent with their envelope-stuffing. It would be nice if the tour publicity reaches the fans sometime before the tour ends, after all. :P

Wow, you got one quicker than me, OE. I sent a fan letter last April and yet....nothing.

I wonder if they could use more wights? (I have no idea if I used the word correctly.) If I lived closer I'd volunteer to be a part of the glacier...

I've never tried sending an SASE to the CPFOA. I wonder what I would get back.

I also sent a SASE three and a half years ago, and I have never heard back. I don't mind though. I understand Al is a busy guy.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.
