okay, i was listening to IBMWID, and was wondering what Al was refering to or what "cosmic cowboys" means and why it was in the song. i really dont get it (considering i was born 4 years after its release)i'd appreciate if you could clear that up.

You should really ask the person who wrote the lyrics, so I encourage you to wait for Ask Al to return.

But my guess is that it refers to anyone who thinks they're at some higher, enlightened level, but probably isn't. It has nothing to do with cowboys. Like the terms Nervous Nellie or Worry Wart... thay have nothing to do with warts or anyone named Nellie!

A hibachi is a small, tabletop barbecue, and Schwinn is a popular American bicycle brand.

Are those mentioned in Mellow? I'll have to listen again!!

His hibachi dealer takes off his prosthetic lips!

for his $20 and his 64 plymouth, maybe he could get a second hand schwinn.
