So...about that upcoming ALbum...

So folks, any thoughts on the upcoming album?

Predictions as to when it will be released? Predictions of songs that will be parodied or polka'd? Thoughts about potential titles? Cover art? Anything??

Any reasons why you think it's taken this long for a new album to surface? Personally, I'm of the opinion that Al is waiting to hear that one of us has gone completely NUTS from the wait and is now happily drooling in a nice padded cell before he starts work on the album. (I'm JOKING.)

I want it to be released SOON! Very very soon cause...well...um...You know! Follow Al on tour throughout the summer! That would polka!

Songs parodied and whatnot...I have no clue. I've never been up on the latest...In fact, never have been.

I just hope something about LOTR appears on there...

Should we be discussing what we think will happen as far as songs that will be parodied or what the originals are about? Bermuda and Al have both said that anything that's published is discredited (or something like that) and I don't want anything like that to happen.

I only hope that it comes out reAL soon. I need meaning in my dull, boring, miserable life.

Being al's 27th number one fan, if my theory serves correct possible polka or parodies could be- Jadded (probably polka, since al did livin in the fridge) Who let the dogs out (i don't know if it'd be a parody or a polka song but i'd assume it's there) That song from the moulnge rouge which i can't pronounce(polka) there's gotta be a creed song in there some where. The lead track would be the hardest to decide, it might be old song about a new subject or new song of something else. With all these summer sequels there's bound to be a number one hit song sometime or other. I'm guessing maybe a MIB 2 more than likely with Will Smith. (These are just guestamits mind you) That wacko rap song Till I got High could be a polka song. Beautiful Day by U2 will probably be on there. AND THE MOST CONTRAVERSIAL POSSIBILITY : WILL AL DO A SMOOTHE CRIMINAL PARODY? Does that classify under Michal Jackson or Alien Ant Eater, ur Ant Farm. Just take any number 1 chart topper hit from november of 99 and on and it might be on the next album!

Somehow "cause I got High" doesn't seem like something Al would do anything with. Of course, I *still* can't believe he did anything with "closer" so what does that tel you?

I think as long as we're not saying "Al, I think you should do a parody of this song about this topic"...and as long as it's just our predictions, not suggestions...

Another good point. Does discussing this in here count as it being published? I didn't think it did...which is why I asked the questions in the first place...but if this whole topic is not cool, please, moderators-get it off the board! I will not be offended. I'd probably be quite thankful...if this discussion's not okay, that is.

I mean no harm. I'm just curious as to what the folks around here think will appear on the next album.

I'm not a lwayer either, Smegabyte, although I'd like to take one of their paychecks.

I'm just as anxious to discuss what I'd like to see on the next Album as all of you are I'm sure. But I don't want to jeopardise anything, either. I'm sure Jon will tell us one way or the other. I'm glad you aren't upset that I asked about this. Many people take me asking questions as a personal attack, and it definitely wasn't that.

Something like "Discuss possible new parodies" or maybe a "FANS ONLY" suffix? That way, it would be really clear that the discussion may include people mentioning ideas or songs Al should do.

Mayby that could be a new forum on here. It seems like it would definitely solve any possible problems. We fans could discuss, twist, and generaly toss around ideas about upcoming projects to our hearts content while at the same time Bermuda and anyone else would know that a certain topic wasn't meant for his eyes (as much as I hate excluding him from anything...)

I've personaly got tons of ideas for the new Album, or even one of my own if I could afford it, and, to be honest with everyone, it's real hard to keep these things secret...

I wonder if, on the same thought lines, we could have a forum where FANS could write parodies and get feedback from other fans? (again, Jon may not be able to look...)
