Did anyone noticve today's Dilbert comic had Dilbert's cause of death as "running with scissors?" With this being so close to Al's birthday it makes me wonder if the "guest cartoonist" had an Al reference there.

I didn't see that, In fact I haven't read Dilbert in awhile - Did he die? Maybe it is a friend of Al's?

No Dilbert didn't really die, but the guest cartoonist uses funereal themes in a lot of his strips. This week, Dilbert is drawn by a different guest each day. I am not a big DIlbert fan, but for some reason today's caught my eye

He would have to be a big fan, because they write these comics way in advance. It's not like they fax in the new comic in the morning or anything.

It was Steven Pastis, who draws "Pearls Before Swine". I liked the one done by Lynn Johnston, since I read her strip, "For Better or For Worse".

This comic has 2 Al-like referanced:

"When I fist heard Dilbert had died while Running With Scissors, I, too, was stunned. I, too. Asked, "What's it all mean?"

"...that 2,247 newspaper slots now wiiiiiide open, baby!...Ka-Ching! Ka-Ching!...Sorry about the Ka-Chings?
