Since St. Patricks Day is coming up, i remebered a few years back watching the news and saw AL on a float in the parade(this was in Dallas,Tx)so i just thought you should add that to the tv appearnces on
www.weirdal.com(i think it was '99 and on FOX4 News in Dallas/Fort Worth)

Thanks for the mention, but I try to list only those appearances where Al expressly participated. A mention on the news doesn't really qualify. However, if the parade had been broadcast nationally, it would be listed, just as the Hollywood Christmas Parade was listed.
Honestly, attempting to list every instance where Al had been mentioned in the news would be impossible, and a rather tedious list.

Al was the Grand Marshall [or whatever the title was] of the Greenville Street St. Patrick's Day parade in Dallas on March 11, 2000. The parade is something of a parody itself of a larger and more self-important SPD parade in Dallas and features a lot of goofy floats and such. It was a lot of fun that year.

okay then what about this:
On rock 'n roll jeopardy there was a catagory called"Weird Al Things" which showed the Al song and they had to tell the real song?(also Ricky was one of the double jeopardy questions)

An Al mention - even a whole category dedicated to him - doesn't qualify as an appearance by him.
