World of Weird Al Yankovic

I noticed that in the Alapalooza pullout it says "All songwriting proceeds from 'Achy Breaky Song' will be donated to the United Cerebral Palsy Association." How come? and did that happen?

That's what the songwriter requested in order to grant permission for the parody. Note that Billy Ray Cyrus did not write that song.
