I'm not sure about a worldwide release, or the 'regions' compatibility. But with computer DVD drives, I think they all read Region 1 (North America) so you could order the US 'import' and watch on the computer.

Berm, is the DVD going to be available through the Weird Al merchandise site?

I looked at http://www.weirdal.com and didn't see anything.

BTW, when it comes out my library is going to do another Al display. Each branch in our system is known for specializing in certain things (like anime) so we are going to be the "Demented Music" one.

I'm not sure if that will be available there, and I see that only the Live! video is being sold at the site even though there are other titles in print (and in stores.)

As a little side note, Amazon.com has UHF on preorder for $11.21(currently rated 3rd of all dvds) I like a great deal, but it sounds like a lot of work went into this DVD and I'm surprised MGM isn't trying to make more money off of it.

(hoping there will be new promo material for the dvd)

It is now the #2 DVD on Amazon right now. I, too, was very surprised at the low price.

What a great deal. This DVD is worth a whole lot more! -IMHO

"Hi everrrrrybodyyy!!"

OK.....UHF DVD, Emn-hmn......

Priceless, I am sure everyone agrees....

but if one costs $20 and another is $12.....it's the retailer that is making the extra $$, noy Al or MGM. (I think)

I mean, I COULD be wrong, but it's doubtfull
