World of Weird Al Yankovic

In the "Town Talk" bit, did Al really get hit with the chair? I mean, breakaway or not, he DID wear glasses...

He definately did get with the chair but im sure the chair was made of plywood or something that breaks easily and causes very little pain.

I probably was mistaken when i said plywood. Im not sure what the material is called but for some reason the word plywood sticks out in my head.

I think you mean balsa wood? It's very light and easy to break..

Thats it! Balsa wood! Thanks shelly, it was driving my brain nuts trying to figure out what it was.

It could have even been made out of styrofoam which was painted tan to look like wood; that stuff breaks really easily. That shot is pretty distant so there are a lot of possibilities.

Well hopefully, they would have thought ahead and gave Al a pair of "stunt" glasses to wear...especially since the chair slams right into his face.
