Weird Al at the VMAs?
I was looking through Al's tour page and noticed he has no date listed for August 28th. THe MTV Video Music Awards are on that day. Maybe Al is taking a cheap priced flight to NYC for the VMAs. Could Al be at the VMAs presenting an award? Prehaps maybe performing?
Who knows, i'm just making predictions. What do you think?

I don't see it happening...but I like the way you think!Something that would be interesting: Al and Nelly performing Trash Day on stage at the VMA's. Poodle Hat sales would go through the roof.
Why thank you.

Al and Avril performing together.
Al and Eminem performing together (don't hold your breath).
Each lead singer from each band singing Angry White Boy Polka (see above).
Al and Billy Joel (could happen).
If you've been to an Al concert, you've seen footage of him giving award nominations. He puts himself in the video thants nominated. Maybe something similar for the VMAs. Again, who knows if any of these will happen? I'm just making predictions and guesses.

How about a Lifetime Achievement Award?
I don't see that happening.
About Al putting himself into other people's videos at the awards shows, I believe he only did that once, for the Billboard Music Awards. But he used to do it all the time on ALTV. Personally, I think it's about time they ask him to host the show. He could do a much better job than Jimmy Falon or Chris Rock. I mean he virtually the only celebrity out there who is both a comedian and a musician. He's perfect for hosting a music awards show!
