Tribute

Post by minnick27 »

I dont know if any of you saw it, And I dont know how long it's been up, but I noticed that there was a new tribute album to the Al-mighty Weird One. So far there are only a few songs, so if any of you have Al covers or tribute songs, hop over to wa.com and check the links, it's the last one on there.

Al Tribute CDs Question

Post by jahaase »

I'm new here so I apologize if this has been discussed previously.

I've got "Prosethetic Lips" and "Me, Myself, And I" but I was wondering about a third one I seem to remember reading about once. It's been a few years ago that I think I saw a website for a tribute CD that was going to be all punk versions of Al songs. I think it was called AL-anarchy or something like that. But I've since been unable to find any info about it, does anyone here know if this exists?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you are thinking of this? It's not a CD, but rather a 10".

Cool!

That's not it, but that sounds pretty cool.

The website I saw had an anarchy symbol altered to include the title of the project. I just can't remember the exact name.

I think the site you're talking about is http://www.yourmother.com/music/mp3s.php3 You'll have to scroll down to get the 2 songs they've covered.

Prosthetic Lips

Post by BillyW3 »

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I could get a copy of this [Prosthetic Lips] WAY tribute album? I couldn't find a topic about this, but I might have missed it.

I know at some point Elvis was offering copies, but the page he had up for it is gone.

Dave, can you step in and shed some light on this, por favor?

I'm having trouble with my CD burner so I pulled the offer for the time being.

What's going on? Is it just a problem with the program, or is the burner itself acting up?
