Is this asking the worst song or the "Dumbest". Because Genius in France is pretty "Dumb" Unless you listen to it in France, then it's brilliant. Also if you're saying that you think Bob could be funnier, how could someon make it funnier? There's only so much one can do with planindromes...

I'm voting for Bob. Not because I don't like it, but because it is non-sensical. That's sorta the point, which is what makes it funny.

That and the Dylan sound. May a moody baby dooOOOooom a yam!

Bob was pretty "dumb", but it's not downright horrible. You just have to "get it" to enjoy it...

I can't really vote for any of these. I mean, everything is dumb, but insanely clever at the same time. That's what makes Al such an enigma.

And BOB is just plain brilliant on a number of levels. He could have just done a Bob style song with nonsense lyrics and it would have been ok. Instead he took palindromes and managed to get almost every Bobism from that period into the song. The part where Al sings “Do nine men interpret, nine men I nod.” and most of the others would fit comfortably on any Dylan album.

If I HAD to pick one to be the "dumbest" I'd pikc Party at the Leper colony simply bcause of all the songs that's my least favorite. However, I still enjoy it :D

I agree. That's why I chose it. Not because I don't like it (I really do like it, alot) but because Al raised nonsense to an artform. Brilliant even judged by some of his other stuff. And tying it to Dylan? Pure genius!
