Al on "Jay Leno's Garage"

Postby Muppetboy09 » Thu Feb 22, 2018 7:07 pm

While there doesn't seem to be much information about it, I just found an instagram post from the Mayor of Lynnwood, describing how Al came by with Jay Leno for an episode of "Jay Leno's Garage". The coolest bit is that the current owner of his old home allowed them to come in, so Al could look around. So cool! I'll put the caption and picture below.
Good Morning Lynwood! Guess who stopped by to visit our great City yesterday? In case you saw them driving around, it was Jay Leno and our very own Weird Al Yankovic, who were filming an episode for the reality show, Jay Leno's Garage. Not only did Weird Al take Jay on a tour of Lynwood, but he also made sure they stopped by his childhood home on Bullis Road and Burton Avenue. Longtime Lynwood resident Robert Jones was delighted to give Weird Al a tour of his home. Weird Al said his day couldn't get better than seeing the inside of his old house again. Shout out to Robert Jones for making Weird Al's visit more memorable than expected. Thank you for visiting us Jay and Weird Al. You are always welcome in our great City.

I'm glad Jay has gotten over Al stealing his guests! Wonder what car they are driving around. I would assume a Plymouth Belvedere

Wow, that's great! :whoot:
I googled the message you've posted and found a facebook post with more pictures of Al inside his old house! https://www.facebook.com/JoseLSolache/p ... 8435425152

I assume the car in the background is the one they drove there. Don't know what it is, but its definitely not a Belvedere
