If Young Al Had to Parody Today's Music

Al's got a lot of weird songs from the old days, right? Back when he pretty much had to have an album out every year? You get a bunch of songs about food and television in there, which is entirely different from what he does today. Entirely. Different.

But what if Al had the same approach to today's music as he did with music in the '80s? That "Fancy" parody might be about Subway instead of a handyman, ala "I love lunch meat." "7 Years?" More like "7 Beers!" Okay that's a bad example because Al doesn't mention beer a lot but I think you get it. No? One more example? Uhh okay, how about Adele's "Hello" like he's ordering from the drive-thru: "Hello I would like some friiiiiees"

These are all terrible examples and I'm sure you all can think up much better ones. These would all have a lot of accordion in them too, remember! :accordion:

Okay, mentioning beer was a mistake. I thought people would be able to tell that it was a joke because Al doesn't do drinking songs, but here we are. 7 Years would actually be a dramatic song about a comedy tv show.

Cheerleader would definitely NOT be Beer Drinker!!!!! I am so passionate about this, this is all I thought about at work today
The OBVIOUS parody of Cheerleader would be about a Cheeseburger!!!! COME ON PEOPLE

It could even be Wendy's specific about a "junior bacon cheeseburger!!!!!!" Which comes with the 4 for $4 by the way!! I even sang "junior bacon cheeseburger" as I made the junior bacon cheeseburgers.

COME ON

Same Old Lunch is fine. Probably the best of yours.

Beer Drinker?????
CHEESEBURGER. Cheeseburger!!!!!!!

Wrecking Ball = Salad Bar??? Ay yi yi

I'm realizing I didn't even read the rest of these because I was so angry about Cheerleader being Beer Drinker and NOT Cheeseburger.

Pork From Home makes no sense in a food way and is essentially the same song as Work From Home now except you say "you don't gotta go to pork, pork, pork, pork" etc.

Ay yi yi

Does anyone else have any? Anyone? Please? There's so many options!! Cake By the Ocean only needs a bit of changing. I love that song, and Stitches!! These are options! Am I the only one here who actually listens to current music?

Also, any Meghan Trainor song could be improved with any version of Al's lyrics. Even if all he did was replace every word in her songs with "beans," it would be a million times better than what they already are.
(Oh darn I guess he can't do "Beans" now, a parody of her song "No" because I mentioned this idea.)

There's so many songs you guys

I really like the "Snore" idea. (I could picture the title hook going "(I) Don't wanna hear you snore"). Being that I have parodied "Roar" (back in 2014 about two months before "Mandatory Fun" came out), I made it into a food song called "(Eet Sum) Moar" [ https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 2829919771" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ] , so comparable to mine, I can actually see "Snore" to be a welcoming turn to "Roar" that nobody's ever done yet. :good:

The only thing I can think of right now is a possible parody of Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" called "Serve Yourself," and the subject matter would be all you can eat buffets.

.......and this is why Al is paid the big bucks to make song parodies, and I am not. :P
