World of Weird Al Yankovic

I couldn't find a topic for this, but Weird Al apparently played the evil wizard Probabilitor the Annoying on tonight's episode of Gravity Falls. Here he is in all his glory:

I waited a long time for new Gravity Falls let alone for Al's episode. I'm glad he's on as this is among my favorite television shows of all time. However, I feel that after his role in Batman Vs Robin that I was hoping for Al's role to have a nice balance between fun and thought provoking perhaps like the villain Bill Cipher. A lot of GF fans were hoping that the character Tad Strange would be Bill's brother and that Al would play him, I didn't expect *that* but I definitely got my hopes up.

I also got my hopes up for a 27 reference in such a number heavy episode. HOWEVER- once again Alex Hirsch put together another solid episode and I'm glad Al's a part of it. It sounds like Al had a great time.


Also you got to love that Legend of Zelda reference. "Hey. Look. Listen."

If I hadn't already had known, I probably wouldn't have guessed it was Al. The wizard kind of had... an annoying voice to me, haha. Forcing himself to sound spooky and magical and ... well... I guess the wizard was supposed to be annoying, yes? Just sounded.. high pitched-ish. Either way. That episode, sadly, wasn't my favourite.

Also; all those numbers AND NOT ONE 27?! How dare thee, Alex!

Al himself states that he's a fan of the show, calling it one of the most funny and creative shows to come out these days. Agreed as it's now one of my favorite shows of all time. I didn't expect for Gravity Falls to be this successful when it came out...from seeing concept art of it I was very mixed. And I saw the first episode.......love at first sight.

I don't really like GF to be honest. I don't like a lot of what's on the telly nowadays but I'm expecting to like MML despite that probably getting a bad fandom following like GF and the rest.
