My friend alerted me about it before I could tune in. Apparently he was with Andy Samberg?

So my third post now is actually an opinion (watch first before you read)...

very cool! Tbh I don't tune into most of the shows he covered, but anyone tuning into the Emmys likely does, so it was very well-done for where it was being performed. I feel like Game of Thrones fans will go nuts for the lyrics he gave the theme song. We were off in guessing there might be a GoT song on MF, but only by about a month!

So now he's given theme songs to Conan, 30 Rock, Madmen, Scandal, Homeland, Modern Family, and Game of Thrones! And probably at least one other that I can't think of. Quite the lyricist!

Since I watch Homeland and Game of Thrones, I especially enjoyed his takes on them. Now all he needs is that Super Bowl appearance, and my life will be complete.

That was great, but begs the question: why isn't Al not HOSTING the Emmys??

It was great, I had to run upstairs to see it when I heard my family say "Weird Al."
