WatchMojo just put out a top ten list of Al's parodies.

The choices are pretty predictable, but I beg to differ with the order of a few of them.

"It's All About the Pentiums" might not be as lyrically relevant as it was in 1999, but I still think that's one of those rare cases where everything came together perfectly--not a single wasted lyric; the video was fantastic...I thought it was ranked too low at #9. Then I saw that "White and Nerdy" was ranked at #4. WHAT

Grrr! I wanted to start this topic but alas, someone beat me to it. Lol. I do believe they did a pretty good job with their list. I know there are some songs we would of all loved to see but then again it is watchmojo. I think they wanted a video attached to the song so they probably based their list off that. But good none the less.

I agree with the choices for the most part, but White and Nerdy is definitely ranked too low. It was interesting to see IAATP in there, but I think Anth's right; it was a very well put together song.

Of course - though it did surprise me to see "Another One Rides" the bus included. I was also surprised to see "The Saga Begins," since it was not as commercially successful as most of the others on the list. Most surprising, however, was the appearance of "Craigslist" and "Polka Face" in the intro when going over the "rules" for their list. They always include clips that either don't qualify or don't rank in the intro and outro, but I didn't expect those more obscure videos in there. The writer of the video is clearly either a fan or has done their homework.

It seems like they were afraid to pick any parody that didn't have a video.

True! Such a great way of putting it.

Seriously? "They call me the king of the spreadsheets. Got them all printed out on my bedsheets"?

That line always rang to me as an "I only have 2 days to write this song, I can't think of anything better than this!" attitude from Al.

It's definitely not the most laugh-out-loud funny line of the song, but I think it works. It's still relevant within the theme and it isn't forced into the rhythm or rhyme scheme.
