OK, here's my situation...

i'm from the UK,so that means i use a different currency to some of you..

this means i can't pre-order Poodle Hat on amazon.com as they take dow jones not sterling (£) so i tried amazon.co.uk to see if i can pre-order there but... no luck there.

this means at the moment i can't pre-order poodle hat in my country.

which leaves me with this question...

What can i do now?



i COULD wait for a UK release but

1) it may not happen

2) most overseas versions don't include the extra stuff (like OTDE doesn't have Bite Me on it and RWS don't have the SECRET FILE on UK versions)

3) it'll be a long wait (where BHD was released in 1996 and RWS was released in 1999 in the US they were released in 2001 here)



so people, it's over to you...

Well you could always move to the United States.







If that won't work, maybe you could try E bay after it's released here or many other stores have online sites where you can order. Walmart.com for example...

Even better, if the Weird Al store is back up in the near future, they might be able to help you.

Perhaps someone here would be nice enough to purchase it for you, then send it to you. Maybe they could let you know how much it would be in American money so that you can get a cashiers check at your local bank and send it to that person with something like 3 dollars shipping and then you could have your very own copy. I just migfht be willing to do that for a fellow Al fan...PM me.

The only thing I would have suggested is ordering through Amazon's French site, but unfortunately they take Euros.



I know this sounds maddening, but I would recommend waiting. RWS was released in Europe, Australia, and other areas throughout the summer of 1999....just not on the North American release date.



It's kind of a Catch-22. There are fans everywhere that want it, but if they all import it from the United States before it's released internationally, foreign sales might decline and Zomba might think Al doesn't have a worldwide audience.



We still have three weeks to go....maybe some international release dates will be announced in that time.

Good thinking. I hadn't thought of that. Plus I know that a lot of artist put an extra track on their over sea releases just to stop poeple in those countries from importing it. It might work out better for yo in the long run.
