OK I have to go run a few Friday errands before work, but you can expect around 5pm Pacific, we will begin voting on...

NOTE: When the formula I used was applied and tallied up for each bracket, the Food Bracket was considered far and above the HIGHEST rating for Al's songs. In other words, these songs are are all among the fan favorites. Of course, one of them has to earn the title of Weird Al's Worst Song About Food. Which will it be? We'll know for sure soon enough.

Again, I will have the first match-up posted around 5pm Pacific.

Wow. Kinda shocking how many songs from the first album are in this countdown so far!

4 out of 7 finalists! I doubt "I Love Rocky Road" or "My Bologna" will win the food category, though.

If either are up against Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch, they'll be safe. But I really don't think much of the Capital Records version of My Bologna -- too gassy for my taste

Actually, food is not even close to my favorite category of Al's songs. Probably because I didn't discover Al when I was twelve. I could have found them funnier back then, I think.

Yes, it is pretty shocking that so many First Album songs are on the list so far, but I guess that's a good sign for Al. Things are moving in the right direction for him...
Anyway,

Worst Songs About Food
