Ouch. And he even dissed the band. "Perfunctory session players?"

I loved the interview, but I'm pretty sure the writer of the concert review has literally no definition of the words "fun", "funny", "humour" or "comedy".

Upon second reading, I have noticed the emphasis given to the performer's narcissism and mean-spiritedness, and have therefore decided that the reviewer was at somebody else's show altogether.

That pic looks like a still from the album teaser vid. The whole article, BTW, is a very promising start to the tour-season press effort. Serious props to the band, quite a bit more insight than usual into the nature of Al's humor & relationship to pop culture, and extra bonus points for snarky reader comments.

Decent interview, but I am really intrigued by that new image. What is going on there, I wonder?

From the Teaser#2 Nightmare on Elm Street shoot?
From snippets gleaned, the guy who shot that Teaser 2 video and the Alpocalypse cover artist Robyn Von Swank work together a lot and I think (tho not certain) that Teaser 2 and the cover were created on the same day/setting so I am *guessing* this is another Von Swank pic from that same day. It's certainly the Von Swank style anyway. That whole steampunk industrial thing going on
