Definitely potential there. It's not new anymore but it's still very popular, still Top 10 on iTunes. The question here is, would he have a woman duet with him (harmonize, really) or do the straight male-only version? We already know Amanda Palmer is featured on the album, and I'm definitely not against Al featuring other artists in his work.

Yeah I wouldn't be against it.
I do wonder which song Amanda Palmer will end up being on.

Yeah I wouldn't be against it.
At this point, there could be things going for AND against it.

There isn't much there lyrically to work with and the subject matter is quite somber.

Plus, Al would have to decide if he wants to feature another guest vocalist or not.

But what iffff there's a Beck-Pharrell collab? http://news.radio.com/2014/02/14/beck-p ... ion-album/

Yeah I mean at this point it's probably better suited for the polka than a standalone parody anyway, if it's on the album at all.

Do y'all think Amanda Palmer is gonna be on a parody or an original? I don't *think* it would be the polka since it hasn't really happened before but idk.

Original; I think she was announced back when Al was working on the first half of the album, which is pretty much (almost) always originals. Given there is no timely-released parody out before the album this time around, that would be my guess, anyway.

Beyonce? Justin Timberlake? "Timber" by Ke$ha and that bald dude? Josh Groban-esque ballad style parody? "Let Her Go" by Passenger? Kanye West?

With how big Frozen has been over the past few months, I wouldn't be surprised with a Let It Go parody.

Wouldn't it be weird if Al did parodies of both "Let Her Go" by Passenger AND "Let It Go" from Frozen?

Also, if Al parodied "Let It Go" do you think he'd do the version sang by Demi Lovato or the one sung by Idina Menzel (that was presumably in the movie?)

It probably wouldn't matter vocals wise since Al would sing it in a different key anyway but hey, he's gotta credit SOMEBODY for the original.
