Not that strange if he wants to spend Nina's school vacation with his family. He toured in 07, 08, and '10, and the truth is, there is a limited number of summers in Nina's childhood.

LOL Young Adult means 16-24 Dave.. sorry. It is pretty awesome that Al talked about you like that, but its a given you're an old friend whether it was ever said out loud before or not. I've seen Al talking to you.

Re the Tour.. not sure what to do really, it looks like its play one miss one, play one, miss one which is, as Helen says, totally reasonable. Those of us with kids know what precious little time there is before they turn into hulking monstrous teens

He said the month before and the month after. I am pretty confident he will be doing a two month tour because he is pretty sure wont have the album out by summer. If he does the short tour this summer it still gives him a chance to get out there and make some cash, while still allowing him to go out and tour next summer in support of the album while not tying him up for three summers
