Al's pal Bill Mumy and two of his children are among the child stars, both current and former, featured on Child Stars II on the Biography channel. I'm watching right now.

Al's Pal Alice Cooper invited Les Stroud to perform at this year's Christmas Pudding concert. Les Stroud is better known as Survivorman, :inlove: and what you may not know is that he is a pretty good musician.

I found a review here. And then I also found a clip of the performance.

Yeah, I know it's kinda off topic, but I love it when my fandoms collide. Even if very tenuously. Al --> Alice --> Les Stoud.

James Blunt sang "You're Beautiful." Michael Bublé sings "Sway" and other big band songs.

Here's some Emo Philips news - Starting next Monday, Jan. 19, there are going to be six new episodes of "Slacker Cats" on ABC Family.com. This is according to Emo's website.

FYI, Emo does the voice of Dooper the cat.

There will be one new episode per night, and then they'll also have all the old ones from last season online.

Link to Slacker Cats on abcfamily.com

Unfortunately, it sounds like the new episodes are only online, not on the ABC Family TV channel, so those without broadband may be out of luck. However, it's not really clear whether this will be on TV or not.

Wow I am actually surprised they are showing new episodes even if it online. From what I remember of the show it wasn't anything spectacular and was pretty cheesy.

I missed Slacker Cats the first time around - didn't hear about it till it was already off the air. I thought it had been canceled because I didn't see it being rerun.

Also, I had trouble with their website - they used to have "Making of" videos and interviews there, including one that mentioned Emo, but they would quit playing part-way through. I can't find them there anymore.

Guess I'll have to check out the online clips - there are some episodes already there. At least some of the episode descriptions sound interesting.

Al's Pal and UHF co-star David Bowe is in a new Honey Nut Cheerios commercial. Don't know how long it's been airing, but I saw it today.
