That's what I wonder too. I really doubt it, unfortunately.minnick27 wrote:I dont know. Would Al still release it commercially, especially with it being out there already? I doubt it. I do want to see the video though

Re: Perform This Way (New song on YouTube)
Ugh. The video page is now filling up with comments talking about how Al is "lying" about the situation and just trying to garner attention. This is giving me a headache.

smurf.
Okay, now what's going on? Will he be able to release it now? If so, will he use this as the lead single or still try to come up with a different one? Aaaaaagh, this is too confusing.

Re: Perform This Way (New song on YouTube)
It takes a while for YouTube to refresh the view count after it initially starts getting hits. When highly watched YouTube accounts upload things, people will generally watch it right away, and it usually has like 300 something views until much later (my guess is six hours).JCM wrote:Also, does the video say it has 330 views for anyone else? I find that weird considering it got over 2000 likes, but it could just be YouTube's cache or something.
WHAT IS GOING ON, also
Was in the shower when it got leaked. almost spinned my ankle & dead with my head crack opened #StealMyGirlLeaked #StealMyGirlIsPerfect

It could be a case where Gaga herself was totally unaware and Al was rejected by one of her representatives who makes her decisions for you. To be honest if you think artists like Lady Gaga are much more than puppets for record labels and music producers, you'd be fooling yourself.

Re: Perform This Way (New song on YouTube)
Well if you look at the last 15 years of albums we almost get a pattern:
1996: Al releases Amish Paradise, gets heat from Coolio.
1999: Al releases The Saga begins, has to censor it for Disney
2003: Al releases Couch Potato, gets denied for the video
2006: Al records You're Pitiful, gets told by suits he cant do it
2011: Al records I Perform This Way, gets told he cant do it
A controversy on every album he has done. Granted TSB wasnt bad, but it was still something.

Not so much that it's the top story as it is the most recent one. It'll be bumped to page 2 in an hour once Charlie Sheen gets photographed stumbling over a rock and Lindsay Lohan falls out of her top again.TMBJon wrote:LOVING that this is the top story on TMZ right now.

I think it's the record industry's way of telling Al that once he's parodied The Crash Test Dummies, he might as well quit.minnick27 wrote:Well if you look at the last 15 years of albums we almost get a pattern:
