I guess they eased up on it then since stuff keeps popping up on youtube, so whatever. But I will say this: if you have any issues with me or don't like me, smurf off. Problem solved!

This was a GREAT show! I was a little dissapointed that the Tim and Eric clip was cut...but....whatever.
I got a really awesome Lovr moment. If anybody got any pictures of this, I would LOVE to see them!

I want to explain this next song, because I've found that most of my fans have misunderstood its intention. You see, this song is about this guy. It's about this guy who have this unnerving desire, or an urge, to be someone's hog.
*LET ME BE YOUR HOG*
And this next song is about Canada....
Ha! I knew exactly where he was going with the song halfway through the explanation and when he played the ~20s of it and then just went on, my son was sitting there totally baffled. I explained to him that it was the joke, and the UHF reference, and THEN he got it. At the Glen Ellyn show, the pre-song explanation was nearly a minute long...about 5 times the song, lol.

This was an AWESOME show! I had great seats in Section A Row D Seat 12. Very very nice! I took pics that are on my Facebook page if you want to check them out
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 0ef52d4bbd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This was my 2nd show this leg, and my last show I didn't get very good pics, so I was happy that some of these turned out nice. I didn't see where the merch table was set up so I didn't end up getting a T-Shirt or trading cards, which made me sad, but maybe I will order them online or something. I can't wait for the album and more shows next year!!!

Well...this day ended up being an extremely long drive. Started out at 10, 11 eastern...after eating breakfast at Denny's. Didn't end up making it into Cleveland until close to 7:30. Made it to the venue by 7:45, after missing the one road the first time. Definitely weird making it down to where the venue was through the weird turns and construction. Making it into the parking lot was very slow, as well...since we passed up the first parking entrance. And of course, the one time, that I don't make it to a venue extremely early is the time that something special happens. Oh well...
Once we made it into the Taste of Cleveland, we walked around to think about getting a little something to eat. Everything was extremely expensive, so we weren't quite sure what to do. The pre-show band was onstage, but at that time...it was just some cover band, I guess...At least, what it sounded like...It was interesting to see someone else performing on Al's set-up stage, though...Hadn't seen something like that since The Wailers in Detroit, MI at their CityFest. Wandered around a little more and saw Al's Bus Driver, Wayne. He was taking a few sunset pictures for friends, and after that we chatted for awhile before he headed off to the hotel to rest during the concert. It's always nice talking with him.
It was getting closer to show time, so we made it into the reserved section for our seats. Jared and Anna's were in Sec B, since I got Anna a center aisle seat...so she could get that awesome Lovr action that she did. So happy that Anna got that attention at this show!! I figured she would with what the set-up looked like...My seat was in the front of Sec A, and the security wouldn't let me go in the same entrance to the reserved part as they did. Anyway, we met back up once we were inside. They worked on the video servers a little more before the concert started, seemed like they were having a little trouble with them. The wind also didn't help, as the screen was blowing a bit. Concert started a couple minutes late.
Security was pretty annoying standing in front and telling everyone to turn off their flash, although, when I took a couple pics of Al out in the crowd...they never said anything to me. Nice concert tonight, as it was the unofficial first date of Al's UK tour. They had the different video screen edits, and I was definitely surprised when they edited out "Here She Comes", since that's Anna's favorite clip. Al must have been surprised, too, since it made him late coming out for Skipper. I love those moments, though, as we got an extended instrumental section from the band. Al came in just a couple lines late with the drama costume only half way on. The other video edits were interesting, too. I loved getting to see the Keith Richards interview, the "Dirt" educational video, the different Michael Stipe cut with Cell Phones (although, it kinda sucked to see Snoop cut), and the addition of Justin Timberlake's motto. They took out a few various clips, which I guess the UK just wouldn't get or like...such as bank robberies or the "teeth" educational video, or references to musicians that aren't over there. It's nice that I don't HAVE to travel over to London now to see all of it...I'm In Luv Wit Da Skipper sucked being cut, too, as it makes there not be any concert-only songs in the set. The transition into Confessions is pretty smooth.
After the show, I met up with Mike and spoke with him for awhile. Anna got her picture taken with stormtroopers while I was speaking with him. It was so sweet to get to see his little girl this weekend. Met back up with Anna and we went out to wait by the bus. They had kinda formed a line, unless the fans just did it...but Al or the band never came out. Instead, they just drove out...but, Wayne waved at Anna and I, as he was leaving. Such a nice guy. Went back to the hotel, and had a fun night together before the trip the next day to Stroudsburg.

Does this mean that you still might travel to London to see those shows?
