Awesome show Wonderful..
Lovely time at the fair. We saw Al's Brian first and hooked up with Tony and Marissa and various people but as we were coming out I pretty much bumped into a whole big bunch of Al's friends, (the Comedy Death Ray, Human Giant, Red Hour Films, Funny or Die mob; all LA scene comedians/writers/actors who I follow on Twitter.) Vikki encouraged me to go and thank "Weirder" Scott Aukerman for the comp tix to Comedy Death Ray at the legendary UCB Theater he had offered me over Twitter the previous night and Scott and his completely gorgeous wife Kulap Vilaysack greeted me like an old friend.. Fantastically nice people.They introduced me to Paul Scheer, Mike Rosenstein, Jon Daly etc and the day was off to a great start. Scott said "See you later at the concert" and I went away happy

Vikki and I were in CC 52 and 53. so, what is that? 10th row back? and not near the aisle. Vikkis husband and son were sitting up higher, but more centrally and whilst we were looking at them we spotted Jamie Leigh Curtis and Judy Tenuta, and then I spotted Mike Phirman and Scott Aukerman and all the other people I had already met earlier. Concert was great. Al's voice seemed a little weaker than the previous night, but I didnt care and I got a whole chorus of wildly oscillating Yankovicosity thrashing in my face on WBUL... I wasnt complaining. I was lucky there were empty seats in front of me and my hair makes me easy to spot in a crowd, but it did seem like he came looking for me... Bless him:) WIN!:)

The lady next to Vikki (thank you Robyn Clemente) got a pic of him towering over me, but only my hand is in it.. but thats ok:) I was just soo happy!
At the end we made our way to the area where the people with passes were and I immediately spotted Samm Levine (Inglourious Basterds and The Kevin Pollak Chat Show) and just said his name. He looked up and I just said @Ludovicaa? and he was like Ohhh fantastic.. over from England? . He introduced me to his g/f and we spoke a few moments about Al's visit to Kevin Pollaks show and introducing Vikki as the awesome lady who organized Alfest (which was mentioned on that very show) and then i turned and found myself talking to Judy Tenuta,, who is adorable by the way

At this point we were ushered to the backstage area. It was a GREAT atmosphere, all Als friends were there so security was stepped right off and it felt more like a party with just bunches of people stood about chatting and moving from group to group at will. At first I was talking to Steve but Jamie Leigh Curtis called to him and ...voom.. he was gone (and who can blame him LOL) and then I got all caught up with the Aukerman party again and got them all to sign my flag. They all seemed very flattered to be recognised. They were all completely charming and introduced me to their wives
What a total darling @Kulap is.. she gave me hugs and kisses like we'd known each other all our lives Lovely lovely lady. Then it was our turn to meet Al and we had a nice chat about London. My camera was being a bitch and kept switching off so I didnt get any pictures Though I am hoping that the ones Dave took on Jackies camera will come out ok, and Vikki got some nice clips too, stills of which are on my FB. We then talked to Jim and Diana West and Mitch Chang and his friend and Jay Levey and then a petite figure rushed out and our eyes met and it was Suzanne and I was like and she was like and then we were like and I love her to bits:) what a FANTASTIC person:).. Yeah... it was a night that will go down in history for me!

Wow! Louise, I'm very glad to hear you had such a good time. Btw, you should totally post a picture of your flag with all it's signatury goodness.
