Its not stupid. Its meant to be played with the cd on shuffle. That way every time you listen to the album its a different experience. Although I guess any cd on shuffle provides a unique experience every time.
Interesting - I never knew they intended it to be listened to in that way. In fact, when I put the put the song in iTunes, I merged it into one file.

Did you get the song(s) from Apollo 18, or the Dial-A-Song compilation? Because the latter DID combine them into one track.

Apollo. I combined them myself because I didn't want them separated when I put it on my iPod.

If you're a shuffle man like myself (I listen to my iPod almost exclusively on Shuffle All mode), I recommend you separate the tracks and see what you think. These days I only listen to Fingertips all the way through when I'm seeing TMBG live!

That would mean digging out the CD from my several boxes of CDs that I have in boxes in my closet. Not worth it!

I've always listened to "Fingertips" straight through on the Apollo 18 CD. For whatever reason, it's not on my iPod. . .but it will be soon!

JNN's source just changed his Facebook status to:

I just watched this to get a better sense of what to expect from the new "Ringtone" video...it was very funny and well written...some of the best satirical jabs at Twitter and the internet in general...Boy, this "SuperNews" really seems like a sharp, witty, topical show that doesn't seem to try to hard to pander to my demographic...this looks like something I should definitely be watching regularly...
