World of Weird Al Yankovic

I dreamt that Al came to my townhome and signed my roommate's poodle. Then we had spaghetti noodles with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese. And he gave me a free copy of Dare to be Stupid and then he left.

I was so let down! First thing I did upon waking was run over to the poodle to see if it had any black marks on it (it's a white poodle). It didn't. :'(

Last night I had a dream I was in the hall at my school, and my friend Nate came up to me and said, "Maureen, I'm gonna kick your butt!". Then I said, "How can you kick my butt in a dream?" and I put my hands in front of my face and I was actually controllling myself in the dream (Isn't that called lucid dreaming or something?).

So first I was in a kitchen with Alton Brown (as a live audience on Good Eats) and Al was there too. He didn't say anything, he was just sitting there watching Alton Brown cook (two Als in one dream!). Then Al and I were in a resturaunt (not together, he was there with Suzanne and I was standing off to the side) and Al kept singing to the waiters. It was one of the coolest dreams I've ever had, because it had Al in it and I think it was a lucid dream.

ok the other night i had this dream:

i was walkin on the beach just watching the sunrise,and out of no where Al passes me. i do a double take. and i fianlly walk over and say "hey" to Al. he say "hey" back, and asks me if im goiong to AlFest. i said "no...im stuck here and i have to work that night to" Al gives me a smile and im see in his eyes he has a plan for me. "u think that that will work?" i asked. Al pulls out his phone and calls my boss and family. "Fool proof"

then i wake up to the reallity that im stuck home working my butt off like always. man i wish that dream was real. dreams never come true.

I just had a dream where I got to go to AlFest, but when I got there, there was this security guard with a gun guarding the door, and I had to go around to the other side of the building to this big parking lot with airplanes and garage doors. There was this normal door there, and I went in and some guy, who somehow knew my name, led me down lots of stairs and showed me the room everyone was in. I go in the room, and it's a very dark, boring kitchen, and my parents are somehow there and cooking lunch. They tell me everyone else is in the next room. I go to the next room, and I see everyone dancing to this boring old fashioned music in this huge dark room. I remember seeing a lot of people who were in this photo. Then I woke up. I hope/assume the real AlFest wasn't like that!

Ok I tweeted this dream but I think it might be easier to understand all in one block vs over a bunch of tweets:

I had a dream that I won a big lottery, like the publishers clearing house one, and was down in LA shopping with my friends, JJ and Jax. We were wandering around and had HUGE heavy shopping bags full of stuff. We were about to walk into a store and who should walk out right in front of us? Al and his family. I froze, shocked, totally unable to make my mouth form words. My friend Jax pushed me forward and was like, "Oh my god, are you Al Yankovic?" And Al gave this half-annoyed smile and was like "Yeah, that's me." And Jax was like, "This is my roommate Emma, she's a huge fan, I mean a HUGE fan, could you please talk to her for just a moment?"
He turned and looked at me and the smile softened just a bit. I could tell he was annoyed with talking to fans when he was out with his family and I really didn't want to bug him but I also kinda knew that it was like my one chance to fangirl.

Alright. Here's my grand moment of embarrasing myself online, and no, I can't find my glasses right now either, so forgive (if you can) the typos.

I think the problem is that I had fruit salad before I went to sleep tonight. Maybe it was too much fruit, vitamin C, I don't know...

So, the dream starts off with me at an Al Concert. I'm sitting in mid-third row and Al and the guys are just finishing doing "You're Pitiful" and then the stage goes dark. For a moment, I start to panic and wonder what the heck happens next, because in the real concert, the stage didn't go dark at that point. I start to hear next the beginning music of Lady GaGa's "Love Game". The lights go up on stage, and there's Al and the guys dressed up in Lady GaGa outfits, platinum blonde wigs with hair bow ties and all. In my dream I start to laugh so hard that I fall out of my chair, people are staring at me, then the music stops and I wake-up.

The really terrible part of the dream is: I never heard Al sing the song. But, everyone sure looked cute with their platinum blonde hair bow ties.

I think I need to not eat fruit salad before bed. And, if anyone ever asks me, I did not post this...
