okay. i edited the previous 'ad' post. the gf just bought a plane ticket to come back home from san diego the day of. she's probably gonna give me hell for cutting her tiki oasis thing short, but its really not my fault she doesn't keep tabs of her dates (unlike me with my blackberry).

aloha monterey people...
i posted this in the general chit-chat forum, but i just realized i should've posted here instead since we're more like family (plus i'm sure a lot of us are in the same boat).
i'm just gonna copy & paste what i said (because i'm lazy and late for work):
hey all... i used the search function, but all the came up was hard tix (thermal paper tickets). so i guess my question is gonna be the first time its been asked:
to those that had printed your concert ticket in 'e-Ticket' format (the ones that come straight out from your own inkjet/laser printer), who's actually decided to laminate them to protect them before the show? it rained here a couple nites ago and the rain damaged part of one ticket (nowhere near the barcode, thankfully) when i was leaving the house to put em in my car. hate to think of the possible threats it may encounter for the next 3 and a half months...
i know e-Tickets have barcodes on them, but i'm sure the scanners can still read it thru the laminate. i suppose i should just call the venue and ask them about it, but i figured i would ask here first to get a general consensus about the idea/subject.
any thoughts?

You don't have to laminate it; just stick it in one of those pocket page protectors that are sold for use in ring binders. Just my thought.

you can always reprint the ticket.
I'd wait to print it till closer to the concert, thats my opinion

thanks for the replies. yeah, i'm just gonna stick in those plastic binder page sleeves like i usually do with my previous e-Tickets thru ticketmaster.
and i totally forgot about reprinting it. i had this weird thought that you could only print once (via a unique cookie issued by vendini at time of purchase). which is good...in case a goat enter my house eats anything & everything paper.
