Looks like they will be handing out wristbands.

Thanks for that information! :)

Regarding autographs, as long as you buy the new ALbum and get a wristband, you should be okay to get one autograph.

Mr. Meadows, you should take at least one record just in case, if that's what you'd really like signed. It's worth a try! I suggested to someone for the PH signing that if they wanted something big like their accordion autographed, a signing was a perfect place, especially when you have something special, big, fragile, something that isn't easy to haul around to concerts/hanging around by the buses, etc. (A dualdisc is much easier to carry with you to a concert when you don't know if there will be an autograph opportunity). But having the latest release signed is always cool ! At least here Al should hopefully know that you couldn't be in line without having bought the new disc :)

And just to be perfectly clear I am not suggesting that people ask for more than one autograph per cd-wristband purchase :)

If you buy 27 CDs I'm sure he'll be happy to make an exception for you. They make great Ground Hog's Day gifts.
   HA! That was so funny. And, really, who doesn't celebrate Ground Hog Day with the finest of gifts?

Oh, Cinnamon, you're a genius! Maybe one of my kids can get our accordion signed. Thanks for the idea...

The wristband thing kind of sucks for people who already preordered the CD, no?

Ok, so I've never been to one of these kinds of things before. Just let me know, can I get a wristband if I come to the store on the day of release and buy the album or do I have to get one early?

I'm so excited.

I talked to management from the store, and they will not be doing any form of pre-orders this time. So you'll have to buy it that day.

I guess I'm a lucky, having had autographs with no-purchase-necessary on CDs, no wristband required and as many things signed as I want! *evil laugh*

Unfortunately, not by Al...

Darn it! But thanks for letting me know - I guess we'll have to arrive when the store opens to make sure we get in, and just spend the day exploring Hollywood until seven.

I'm driving down and staying with my sister, but I think she will be working that day until around 4:30, so I'll probably spend a lot of the day around that area. My sister should show up after work, and perhaps my niece Jessica can make it, too.

I haven't decided what I'm going to wear yet. I may wear my lime green Al Team shirt #30. Decisions, decisions.

One thing I wonder about this ALbum getting signed.

Al usually signs on the CD itself. Because this ALbum is going to be a DualDisc, he won't be able to sign there. He'll probably just sign on the front cover of the case, but maybe not.

Does anyone know for sure about where AL will sign?

I would guess he would sign the booklet, not the case because if it breaks and you want to replace it, you're outta lucky.
