World of Weird Al Yankovic

Thanks for the heads up on the Sparks influence. I listened to "This Town Ain't Big Enough For the Both of Us", and now I'm really looking forward to Al's take on this style.

Dead on Sparks. Even if I didn't read this topic ahead of time ( I don't have the liner notes yet) I would've got it right away.

The jangly piano, the vocal changes...it's not a song I hear very often, but I've heard This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us enough times to draw the connection.

This was the one song on the album that COMPLETLY surprised me

I like this song a lot! I think it turned out beautifully! The chorus is a little lackluster, but the verses are pheonominal!

Another correction to the lyrics, it should be:

SPOILER ... give your laundry static cling.

That Leotard City scene is the only one in that video that didn't match the lyrics. Apparently the artist doesn't know the difference between a warehouse and a store.

It was a nice spatula city reference, though!

Yeah, I actually didn't catch the reference until the third time watching the video. Duh!

Was anyone else thinking "No whammy No whammy no whammy STOP!" when the viruses came up?
