Yes the are persistent for those people who don't have that high of a vocabulary. I myself am excellent with vocab.

Man, Al looked :onfire: in that shiny black shirt...
Ti-ti-ti. *waives finger back and forth* Naughty girl Bobbi. You've actually used that onfire guy.
Let's take a look at a post in WOWAY Posting Peeves (was Emoticons) shall we?

Cat, please don't take it personally. If you noticed on that page there were several posts with multiple smilies.

Smilies are fun, and sometimes help make a point. But they are distracting.

Especially this guy :onfire: who annoys me to death. Partly because he's animated, and partly because he never seems to be on a page without 26 of his closest bouncy-fire guy friends.

Oh, and while we are talking about emoticons... When you quote another member, it's really not necessary to include the emoticons (or photo) they used in the post. If you take a moment for some strategic editing, things are easier to read and less distracting.

This is a happy day for me *tear comes down one cheek*. :P Oh and sorry that I didn't take out the onfire guy in your post when I quoted it.

Gee, Driew, Scotti was talking about when people use more than one on fire guy. I think it's perfectly ok to use just one. And hey, she's a moderator. Give her a break, will ya? ;) Besides, I agree with her! Al did look :onfire:

:P

Did you notice this :P? Huh? I'm just giving scottidog a hard time. I like to try to give people a hard time by using soem old posts as blackmail. That's all. Really :lookround:.

EDIT: In my opinion just one on fire guy is annoying and distracting. I have yet to use that guy.

Well, ok. Those guys are kinda annoying. Sorry, just being sensitive, even if you weren't talking about me. Depression sucks. Carry on.

Depression does suck. My mom has it. Luckily she takes her anti-depressants so she's usually fine.

Anyway, back to the topic, which is far from being depressing. Those are some nice pics. That would have been a cool show to see. :)
