Do you guys mean this is the interview? If so, then that interview was rude! Those guys had no idea on how to interview someone.

Yes, and yes it was and no they didn't. They obviously have a future in journalism.

What kind of future I'm not saying.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

They can probably get a job at 60 minutes, or Newsweek.

Don't you mean Newsweak?
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

So... about that topic? Talk about a wasted opportunity. Or wasted journalists. Ok, both.

You could probably take the word wasted in more ways than one, eh? They may have been on something to write such twaddle about our boy. <_<

That is kind of what I was suggesting when I said they'd drowned their inner child... :lookaround:

Just a note about one of the posts in this thread to set the record straight. Haven't reviewed the Al board for some time- but I believe I had answered most of the comments about "managing" Al. Before I started managing Al, I did ask Jay Levey if he wanted to manage him, he replied "absolutely not". So I got him a record deal, got him national exposure on TV, and the day after the Country Club gig with Dr. D- he called me up and said "my friends don't like you". That was it. That's because I called Dr. D on the air and asked him to not promote the Placebo EP. Dr. D, Al and I to this day know the reason why. I was just protecting my client.
I wish Al the best- and moved on. BTW- Placebo was the label Al came up with. They pressed 1000 copies- and I still have some in the Garage.

Take Care
