Actually, no. In fact, when the album came out, someone came upon an online database of palindromes, which included every one featured in the song.
But, putting them all to music and rhyming them is still an impressive feat!

I think Al should do an extended version of "Bob." A 22-minute epic featuring over 250 palindromes.
And make a video for it too. Just like the current one but longer. Much, much longer.
