World of Weird Al Yankovic

I like that they're using a classic Al image, but it'd look so much nicer if "Weird Al" were in the same font as Yankovic.

I hope that the "bonus" disc contains at least SOME of the following:
-I Need a Nap (Dog Train)
-Polkamon
-Belvediere Crusin
-Take Me Down
-Homer and Marge
-Circus Parade [lol] (Yo gabba gabba)
-You Don't Take Your Showers
-It's Still a Billy Joel to Me
-PAC-Man

Does anyone else think that this box set is part of the reason Al has been going through old photos and posting them on social media? We already know this will come with a booklet of "treasures from Al's vault". Could he be picking out long lost items to showcase in that booklet?

It could be Part of it, but he does that quite often anyway

"Polkamon" seems like a sure bet--I feel like that's been mentioned as being included but I'm not sure. As for the rest, I wouldn't put money on "I Need a Nap," "Circus Parade," or "Homer and Marge" since he didn't write them. I feel like "Belvedere Cruising" and "Take Me Down" are historically significant enough that they really should be there, but we know Al isn't necessarily fond of his earliest work so they unfortunately may get passed over. As for the others, I guess it depends on A) if Al isn't too embarrassed by them and B) if he can score permission. He did perform at George Fest, so maybe the George Harrison estate will be willing to play along...

Only problem I can see with "Polkamon" is that it was released under Atlantic Records, and with the James Blunt incident they might turn Al down from including it due to being peeved over the whole ordeal.

... Or (hopefully) they'll be good sports and realize that the two are in no way connected.

I did notice that while watching the credits of the one Pokemon movie for Polkamon on ITV Hub following it's airing on CITV. Hopefully they just do it for the fans.

I looked through old posts and Dave said that Bermuda mentioned "Polkamon" as being a probable inclusion, and the weirdal.com post about "You're Pitiful" not being included suggests that it was James Blunt's call, not Atlantic Records. But we probably won't know for sure for another few months.
