I was thinking we should have made "Should Al record a political song?" our topic for the first challenge!

We couldn't have done OMI Cheerleader or Rude Magic because both of them were released before Mandatory Fun, thereby eliminating them from consideration.

Really, cheerleader is that old? Then why don't they stop playing it all the time, such irritating song . Gosh, I guess I find all recent hits irritating, maybe except "Sugar" (btw my first suggestion was a parody of it about diabetes )

Well, I just watched "Can't Feel My Face" on youtube for the first time. I can't, for the life of me, see how this became a number one song. In the music video, the crowd seemed just as bored as I was with the uninteresting lyrics for the first 2/3 of the song before the singer catches fire. They started dancing after that, but probably more so for the fact the singer was on fire than that the sung suddenly was good. Boring song.
