He could do a Jewish-themed parody called "The Lox."alemilix wrote:god please noWeirdAnAl wrote:And do you think he'll add "The Fox" in the polka?

...and hey, it doesn't hurt the possible video that Al and Lorde have very similar hairstyles!WeirdAnAl wrote:I'm calling it: Royals as the lead parody. It just has that potential, and I can hear Al's voice singing it (in my head) and it is priceless...

Meanwhile, in November...
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is easily the highest-selling album right now. Its four singles are all currently in the iTunes top ten singles. I know, I know, "Couch Potato." But Eminem in the polka? And yes, "The Real Slim Shady" was on Angry White Boy Polka, but that was ten years ago now, a longer period of time between being polka'd than being parodied.

Im pretty sure Al is just going to stay away. CP may have been 10 years ago, but Im also pretty sure that Al wont want to take the chance of him being a richard again. Honestly, thats why I feel Al has made so many videos for the last 2 albums, kind of making up for not having any for PH. Except for Bob, but thats not a video, even if it is a video

I don't think Al's trying to make up for anything. I think the main reason there have been so many videos is that Al wanted to bring more attention to his originals, and that he liked the concept of the Alpocalypse HD. Alpocalypse HD also finally allowed for the release of White & Nerdy in HD, which Al seemed to be very proud of.

Plus, Al has always said he was a big fan of animation. He probably would have liked to make more animated videos for his songs like "Jurassic Park". Luckily, that coincided nicely with Alpocalypse HD and wanting to being mroe attention to his originals.Alinite27 wrote:I don't think Al's trying to make up for anything. Re: Album 14 Speculation :3
Can ANYONE explain to me why Bob is not a video, but all the half-assed videos on SOL and Alpocalypse are videos? I fail to see any logic in that assessment.minnick27 wrote:Except for Bob, but thats not a video, even if it is a video
A better question - Everyone seems to agree that Craigslist is a music video. WHY is that a music video and not Bob???

Re: Album 14 Speculation :3
The biggest argument for it not being a video is because it was made exclusively for AlTv and never shown anywhere else, so it was basically a skit. Think Bad Haircut from TWAS. Personally I feel that it being included on UVC means that it is an official video.
