The girl had just been in another TV show with Al (Spicks & Specks) right the day before. You can get it here . Otherwise the "thank you for last night" she says at the beginning would have a completely different meaning.

I guess I wasn't listening that closely to what she said. He did mention Spicks and Specks at the end, and said a name, so I guess he was talking about her. Is it just me, or is it just that much sweeter that you can hear that kiss on the cheek? Awww.
