Ok, fine, Tony. You win.

Yay, I win. I'm gonna use my winnings to paint those hosts' houses some stupid color they hate.

How about a Hawaiian print?
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Just imagine their faces when they got home!
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"
"..yeah.."

I'd like them to melt off, like in Raiders. Then let THEM audition for the makeover shows.

This is the reason I've always wanted someone to nominate me for this show. $5000 worth of clothing (returnable if you really do hate it that much, but you probably won't), a great hair cut I could never afford on my own, a make-up lesson...WooHoo! I'd put up with a little public humiliation for that. Heck, you don't have to dress the way they want you to once you get home.

BIG SCORE, Amanda!

I found this rather amusing. Al's pal, Brian Haley, aka the Hooded Avenger, has a myspace page. Under the tv show listings, he has about 5 different shows that he has appeared in listed, with details about each one. Two of the shows are The Tonight Show and Wings, but there is no mention of the Weird Al Show. After the last listing he just says "and many others" and provides a link to his imdb page. I think it was Helen who found something about Brian a while back that gives the impression he doesn't like to acknowledge this. Anyway, even though he doesn't list The Weird Al Show on his page, four people who were invloved with the show are on his top friends list. There's Al, of course, Judy Tenuta, Gilbert Gottfried and Emo Phillips. Go figure.

Well, yeah. But you'd be doing it nekkid since they take all your clothes.

And as far as "kicking and screaming" goes. I've never met her, so I can't say for sure, but she seemed like a strong, intelligent woman. She could have pulled the plug anytime.

And since she's a performer, she got something else that's not eBayable. She got national (perhaps international) exposure. That's gotta count for something.

Clothes are clothes. They exist to keep us warm and hide our shame, and anything beyond that is conjecture and opinion, not fact, no matter how many cameramen surround you.

Tony, you're such a guy! Clothes are much more than that to women.

I say she looked fine before and she looks fine after;

I thought she looked fine before, as well. But I do think her wardrobe was kind of ridiculously limited. Hawaiian shirts and black pants every freaking day? Even Al doesn't do that. He has, by the pics I've seen, have an actual real clothes wardrobe.

And normally I wouldn't comment on someone's wardrobe, but she did open it up by going on the show.

a great hair cut I could never afford on my own,

No kidding. I was doing a little surfing a while back and some lady bought an hour of Nick's time for something like 2 grand? I don't remember how much exactly. I'd love to see what he came up with for my hair, though I don't think I'd let him color it. Still... it would grow out, and for the experience, I'd probably tell him to do whatever he wanted to.

All great points, Bobbi.

I don't have a place to post this, but I just wanted to give a shout out for Mike Maheu, who appeared last night on Jeopardy! and he won, so he'll be on again tonight. He's married to a co-worker of mine, and he's a Weird Al fan who you'll always find at any San Diego Al concert. I've had him sign the rock hall petition. He's a really nice guy. Go, Mike!

I dunno about Brian Haley not acknowledging his TWAS appearances. He friend requested me, and the only way I think he would have found me was through Al's page. I dont know of any other connection I have to him. Unless he just did a search on comedy, I have that listed in my intrests, but I do believe it's because of being on Al's page. Why dont we try to get an Ask Brian section?

SPOILER He won again

We get Jeopardy! early here. He's been telling stories about his wife. Ask her about Strip Jeopardy and massive mountain goats :D
This means something. This is important.
