Just wondering...
do you guys watch most of the episodes with commentary or without?
I started with all the episodes without it, then i watched them all with commentary
and I thought the commentary was funnier, so I usually just watch it with the commentary
but occasionally I watch them without it if its just one episode...

I do that too, purple muffin! I thought I was weird for it, but I guess not.
The commentary is pretty darn hilarious, and of course, it's always nice to hear Al's voice talking and laughing and....and....where was I? I've lost my train of thought. I got lost in the awesome.

You do it too?
Now I feel better =)
I'm not alone
my favorite episode that I watch with commentary is the "Al Gets Robbed" Episode...
and the "He's not Heavy, He's my Hamster" Episode...
basically I like them all, but those are my favorites

I gotta say, I love Al's music, and I support him in all he does, but I was never partial to UHF, and TWAS was sorta lame, although I understand why. When UHF came out on DVD it gave me a reason to like the movie. His commentary was excellent. And it was so detailed, which was non existant in the commentary world at the time, he was even criticized for it, now it's the norm. So when TWAS came out I watched them all without commentary once, now its strictly commentary.

i got the DVD a couple days ago, and are there any easter eggs?
i like hearing the stupid things CBS says about imitatible behavior in the commentary
i really like the show and it's hilarious, why don't other people like it?

im pretty sure there aren't any easter eggs... there aren't a lot of extras on there to begin with so I don't think there are more...
im not sure what to tell you about other people not liking this show...
i find it funny
and creative
maybe not completely Al-like humor
but I like it

Nothing like Al talking about having to film an episode at 3 AM and realizing that Bobby The Inquisitve Boy wasn't allowed at his party because of it. Or just hearing about the jerks at CBS. Great stuff.
Cause, apparently, CBS would rather have 2 years olds watch his show at 6:30 AM than a regular (and wider) audience watch it at say, 10:00 when everyone else is up. I remember Al saying in a commentary, and I don't remember it verbatim, something about CBS looking at the ratings/demographics and they were especially high for like, 2-6 year olds. I'd have to rewatch them, cause I'm not sure of the specific episode right now.
