In the article about the show, it says Al is not releasing the song anywhere else to keep it unique. But Im sure we will get it.

If it's not on the album, it will find its way to the Internet.

Is anyone else concerned that we haven't heard ANYTHING about the next album or gotten any new songs since "Whatever You Like"? That was so long ago now. If the album was coming out this year, shouldn't we have gotten some word by now?

I self-hypothesized that Al's Band was actually arranged by Al as a way to see how CD Baby worked, and that we'll probably be seeing some more from Al very soon.

Yes, well, some of us are thinking the album is not going to come out until next year. I would like to hear another new song, though.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Is there any truth to what was said in the other topic that it's been confirmed that the album was pushed to 2010? Link?

It was this article about "Al's Brain" that said this:

Let's get the bad news out of the way: "Weird Al" won't be playing again until 2010 when his new album comes out.

True or not, I don't know, but since there hasn't really been any other news, I guess that's all we have to go on for now.

Yes, some type of update would be nice.

I interpreted that to mean that the album won't be out by Q3 09, so therefore he will not play at the OC Fair. It could still come out by the end of the year.
