Al mentioned Bruno Mars in a tweet, expect a full-on Bruno Mars parody and polka treatment on the next album.

He has also discussed vegetarianism, baristas, social media, Instagram, communications, Ben Affleck, Delta Airlines, Airplane, Breaking Bad, cigarettes, swimming pools, billboards, electronics, the Super Bowl halftime show, the Kennedy Center Honors, steak, pigeons, and Hitler.

I think Al has used Twitter to let us fans know the topics of each song on the new album. Surprised that he is making an album this long, it must be a career first.

Speaking of which, having a song about billboards be on the album, I think I know the cover Al recently shot for the new album and the title...

It's probably not too likely but I would find it hilarious if Al had a (possibly short) Dubstep style parody song on the album. It'd probably be done in the same format, but with outrageous sound clips/effects like accordion chords, & animal noises maybe even a quote or two from U.H.F. :)

Um, yeah. I'm too new here to know Ryan, but anyway I have an opinion on the "Blurred Lines" tweet as well. I figured when I first saw it that since he was making that joke about the song (low-hanging fruit though it was), he would definitely not be parodying it on top of that. Polka is still in the question, I guess.

Speaking of tweets though, I've been thinking about how much Al loves Breaking Bad. It's extremely culturally relevant now that the series is reaching its climax, and Al loves the show and talks about it on Twitter a bunch...parody topic? Even though the series finale is September 29 and we shouldn't expect Al to release his album till next spring at the earliest, everyone seems to love the darn show (I've never watched but plan to when I achieve that long-elusive state of being known as "free time"), and a 9-12ish month gap before the song comes out isn't too too long. Forrest Gump was released July 1994 and Bad Hair Day, which featured "Gump," was March '96.

I'll tell you what I would really love - a parody like The Saga Begins but it's about the five season story of Breaking Bad!

That would be fantastic. We all know Al's a fan with the tweets he sends out.

Glad I'm not the only one that's been thinking this. It's obvious from his tweets that Breaking Bad has been on Al's mind quite a bit lately. He hasn't really done a TV song in ten years, so it might be a nice return to form. Still, an entire song (especially a parody) might seem a tad dated by the time his next album comes out.

He's probably just tweeting about Breaking Bad just because it's a big television event right now, not because he's considering a song about it. I think if nothing else, Al may make some passing reference to Breaking Bad in a song on the next album somewhere. Who knows? He may want to write a song about the trend of binge watching shows on Netflix or something.

Do you think an artist who has a younger demographic would do a song about drug manufacturing? Yes Al has tweeted about it a lot, but that could also be because he was excited about the final season just like many other people. There could be references in a new tv song, but I just don't see a whole song
