UHF was on Encore a few times not too long ago, and I taped it off WGN before I got the DVD. They always edit UHF on Comedy Central, and they did on WGN as well. So glad I have the uneditted version.

Yeah, I saw UHF on WGN a looonnng while ago and recorded it. I just find it amusing how they have to "cut" some stuff.

That's because he's spoofing Johnny Carson more than trying to be the next Johnny Carson
If you say so, but watch the show tomorrow night before you dismiss him based on his older show. I think he's come a long way since the moose-humping days

Woke up this morning and turned on the TV, and UHF was on! I havent seen this movie on a channel other than Comedy Central, so maybe this will get Al more exposure and a studio will throw a ton of money at him. Anyway, it repeats on Showtime on July 15 at 5 pm
Mike
They actually show it ALOT on showtime and Encore. Im sure Al is seeing alot of royalties already! But I hope your right that other stations like HBO Comedy pick it up.

No, I have seen the show. I'm not saying the spoofing is a bad thing.

In a Weird Al forum, I should hope not
