I doubt it, they usually dont promote things at the end of the Simpsons, or any other show (aside from talk shows, which I hope Al does this time around)

I hope at the end of the simpson they talk about poodle hat :D :D

Wouldn't it be funny if they drew Al with a poodle on his head for this episode?

You know, a thought just struck me... Poodle Hat. I wonder if Al has been told that he looks as if he has a poodle on his head, you know - all those fabulous curls. Maybe that's where it comes from?

I was checking out Herb Pedersen's web site and found out in his long list of credits that he plays banjo on the theme to The Simpsons.

Okay, so why's this important? Well he also plays banjo on "Poodle Hat." It's not listed on his website, but his name is in the players section of weirdal.com

Okay, so why's this important? Well it isn't. Just thought it was a neat coincidence considering Al will be on The Simpsons in a few days.

You may be on to something there, Scotti. I did find this article.
When not in some sort of "fat suit," he maintained a clownboy exterior, a look likely upheld out of torpor than anything else, but it suited him: freakishly curly poodle hair, glasses, a big-but-not-Gene-Shalit-big moustache, and the pièce de résistance, his staple, his trademark: his Hawaiian shirt.

Although how the author could manage to put the word "torpor" into a sentence about Al is more than I can explain.

<Scottidog heads on over to Dictionary dot com to find out what "torpor" means...> Wow. No kidding, OE! :dontgetit:
Al wants you to dust him off, take him out. Salute the first person who ever dared you to be stupid!

Wow, you are one SURFIN' dude! Now I'm going to have to strain my ears to listen for that banjo.

Yep! In fact, I just surfed upon this picture of Homer Simpson kissing what appears to be another man.

well darn! that looks like a classic Al. I was hoping at least The Simpsons animators would get it right and draw Al as he is NOW. I mean, he has been glasses/mustache-free for the better part of 5 years now -- sheesh!
