Who are these people you are talking about, Hot Rod? This thread is pretty much about folks that we know are Al's friends. n/m, just looked at the Transformers Soundtrack listings.

He's at least wondering if they're friends. Jive/Volcano is a pretty big label, though.

Yeah, I know. I did add the n/m on the end of my post. It's all good. :D

And they say Kevin Bacon is the center of the entertainment universe! It's so obviously Al.

And it gets weirder (no pun intended). Jerry Springer was on Whose Line is it Anyway. It's like Six Degrees of Weird Al Seperation

Why on EARTH would the Who's Line crew want to put Jerry Springer on their show?! He's not funny in the LEAST!

I saw that show, sailor. He wasn't funny. At all.

On to an actual friend of Al. *Jerry was just the subject of a song*

I got an email from WCSX about Alice's show. It is written as if Alice were talking to me. ^_^

Hi Patti

Thanks for being a member of the WCSX Workforce!

Tonight's the night! It's my first show on 94.7 WCSX. I hope you tune in later this evening starting at 10pm.

I've said it before, and it's so true, I grew up on the great free-form FM rock and roll stations of the past, so I'm bringing a little bit of that excitement back to radio. I know you're ready for this kind of rock and roll, and in fact if anybody gets this show, it'll be listeners like you. Because Detroit really rocks!

Listener requests are a big part of the show, so make sure to call in your favorite. You can reach me toll free at 888-99-ALICE. See you tonight, and every weeknight, starting at 10pm on 94.7 WCSX !

Alice Cooper

Nights with Alice Cooper
10pm to 1am
94.7 WCSX - The Motor City's Classic Rock Station
Now , listen online @ www.wcsx.com

I am going to email Alice and request The Hot Rocks Polka, just to keep things in the classic rock vein.

Although the show will be streaming online in Detroit, it apparently is not available for streaming elsewhere. To find out if Alice's show is broadcast in your area, go here.

hehe, this is funny. Click here to see Alice doing the weather for channel 4 in Detroit.

Sorry to say, I was really tired last night, so I missed Alice's first show on WCSX. But, I'll probably listen tonight. I did email my request for The Hot Rocks Polka, and I also mentioned the R&RHoF campaign. We'll see if I hear back.

I checked and the nearest station with Alice is in Victorville, 90 miles from me. Stupid LA radio! No Alice & no Dr. Demento! :stern:

Wow, it sounds like Alice is really promoting the Detroit premiere. That's cool.

Fingers crossed...fingers crossed....

If he is actually in Detroit this week, it might actually do some good to contact the station as well, now that I think about it.
